Blades Release 2011-12 Protected List

Florida Everblades News Release
ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today the team's 2011-12 protected list.
As defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, teams shall retain the rights to each player that signed a Standard Players Contract in 2010-11, and has not been traded or released, or signed SPC in 2010-11, and was recalled to the National Hockey League, the American Hockey League or an International Ice Hockey Federation team and has not been traded or released.
In addition, players who received a Qualifying Offer last summer for the current season, DID NOT sign an SPC, and has not been traded or released and players that signed SPC on or after the first day of the 2010-11 regular season, then subsequently signed an NHL/AHL contract, and has not been traded or released can be included on the list.
The Everblades protected list includes forwards Mathieu Roy, Drew Larman, Ross Carlson, Alexandre Imbeault, Brad Snetsinger, Scott Pitt, Tyler Helfrich, Dusty Collins, Mike Kennedy and Nick Tarnasky . Defensively Bobby Raymond, David Fischer, Brad Good, Eric Olimb, Evan Stephens, Deron Cousens, Mike Egener, and Trevor Hendrikx were included on the list as were goaltenders Mike Zacharias and Ryan Zapolski.
