
Stevie Baggs named Defensive Player of the Week

Saskatchewan Roughrider defensive end Stevie Baggs has been named the CFL's Gibson's Finest Defensive Player of the Week.
Baggs had an outstanding game in Montreal on Friday night where he recorded ten defensive tackles, a special teams tackle, two quarterback sacks and a forced fumble. Baggs currently leads the CFL with seven quarterback sacks to go along with 28 defensive tackles, three special teams tackles, two tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries.
This is the second time this season Baggs has received this award and joins John Chick and Chris Getzlaf as Rider weekly award winners this season.
