
Steinman Stymies Titan, Cats' Offense Does the Rest

The Wildcats reeled off their 2nd consecutive road victory this week shutting out the Acadia-Bathurst Titan 5-0 at the KC Irving Centre on Friday night.
Jacob Steinman recorded his 2nd shutout of the season making 19 saves, several of them spectacular. Yoan Loshing sniped his 22nd of the year and added two assists to lead the offence while Jonas Taibel contributed with a pair of tallies (5th 6th). Other goals to Vincent Labelle (21st) and defenseman Etienne Morin (16th).
The Cats kept Titan netminder Josh Fleming busy with 40 shots.
The win improves Moncton's record to 24-23-0-2 with another Maritime division matchup tomorrow night in Charlottetown against the Islanders at 7 pm from Eastlink Centre.
The Wildcats return home with three contests next week at Avenir Centre - Thursday against the Islanders at 7 pm is $10 Student Night, Sherbrooke Phoenix on Saturday is Pride Night and the division-leading Halifax Mooseheads arrive on Sunday Funday, a great family outing.
