Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID - The Steelheads won three of six games during their recent road trip and now return home to CenturyLink Arena to open a three-game home stand. The Steelheads welcome two teams on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, with the sixth-place Allen Americans arriving for a single game on Wednesday and the Kansas City Mavericks (fifth place, Central) playing a pair on Friday and Saturday. The Mavericks come to Boise for the first time since April 2016.
Player Notes:
- F Jefferson Dahl has one goal and six points in his last six games. He is tied for second in the ECHL with 22 power play points.
- F Justin Parizek recorded his first career four-point game on Friday against the Thunder with two goals and two assists.
- Parizek ranks third among ECHL rookies with 46 points.
- F Michael Neville scored his first professional goal on Friday in Wichita.
- F Brady Brassart has two goals and nine points in his last eight games.
- F Cole Ully as four goals and 11 points in his last 11 games.
- G Philippe Desrosiers has appeared in ten straight games, with a record of 6-3-0 in that span.
Team Notes:
- The Steelheads will play just their sixth home game since January13th on Wednesday.
- The Steelheads rank third in the league in shots per game (36.6) and fourth in shots against (28.91).
- The Steelheads are 4-3-0 against the Americans this season.
