Norfolk's Reichenbach Named CCM/ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Ty Reichenbach of the Norfolk Admirals is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Feb. 26-March 4. It is the second time this season that he has received the weekly honor.

Reichenbach went 2-0-0 with a 1.50 goals-average and a .961 save percentage in two appearances against Atlanta last week.

The 24-year-old made 34 saves in a 3-2 win on Friday and stopped 39 shots in a 4-1 victory on Saturday.

A native of Billings, Montana, Reichenbach has appeared in 36 games for the Admirals this season with a record of 16-16-3 with one shutout, a 3.26 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. He leads the ECHL with 1,187 saves and ranks fifth with 2,042 minutes played.

Prior to turning pro, Reichenbach played three seasons at Norwich University where he appeared in 46 career games where he went 29-6-5 with seven shutouts, a 1.85 goals-against average and a save percentage of .922.

Runners Up: Martin Ouellette, Florida (2-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .920 save pct.), Mackenzie Skapski, Orlando (2-0-0, 1.99 GAA, .943 save pct.) and Joel Rumpel, Utah (3-0-1, 1.90 GAA, .937 save pct.).

Also Nominated: Garrett Bartus (Fort Wayne), Adam Carlson (Kansas City), Pat Nagle (Toledo), Colin Stevens (Wheeling) and Nick Riopel (Wichita).
