The Steel took down the Sioux City Musketeers by a 6-3 score in the first of a two-game set at Tyson Events Center on Saturday night ... Chicago scored five goals in the middle frame, the highest-scoring period of the season ... Three Steel goals were scored with the man advantage out of five chances (60%) while the team killed off 3-of-4 penalties taken ... With the victory, Chicago extends its win streak to a season-best four contests. Brendan Brisson notched a three-point evening (2G, 1A), his fifth multi-point outing of the year. He now has 17 points (8G, 9A) this season, the most among USHL rookies. Josh Doan tallied his first USHL goal in the win. Erik Middendorf reached the back of the net in his first game as a member of the Steel. Sean Farrell added to his league lead in points with a marker and an assist. He has 22 points (7G, 15A) on the year. Gunnarwolfe Fontaine netted a goal and added a helper in the win. He now has 14 points (8G, 6A) this season. Owen Power picked up a two-helper evening, his fifth multi-point performance of the year. Sam Colangelo notched two assists, pushing his season total to 18 points (9G, 9A). Dawson Pasternak and Mackie Samoskevich each added a helper in the win. Victor Ostman turned away 30 shots in the victory. He now has an 8-2-0-0 mark in net, tied for the league lead in wins.
