
Steamwheelers to Host Jersey and Helmet Auction to Support Trinity Regional Health System

DAVENPORT, Iowa. - On Saturday, July 16, following their final home regular season game of 2005 season against the Amarillo Dusters at OS Field at The MARK of the Quad Cities, the Steamwheelers will host a very special auction on the field to support Trinity Regional Health System.
At the conclusion of the game, the âWheelers will be auctioning off their home jerseys and for the first time in team history, their helmets as well. Approximately ten minutes after the game ends, players will return to the field wearing their home jerseys to be auctioned off one-by-one to âWheeler fans. Fans can bid on the jersey and/or helmet of their favorite player with all proceeds going to support Trinity Regional Health System.
Fans that purchase the jerseys will be able to leave with them that night while the winners of the helmet auctions will receive a voucher to pick up the helmet at the end of the Steamwheelers season.
The game also marks the return of KWQC-TV 6 Scout Night with all scouts, leaders, family, and friends receiving special discounted tickets. In addition, all scouts in attendance will receive a special participation patch. This is the first year that a special participation patch will be offered during this annual event. Finally, the âWheelers and KWQC-TV 6 are once again offering a ticket deal allowing all kids 14 and under the chance to see the Steamwheelers for free when accompanied by two paid adults. This popular promotion will be returning for the third straight game, and to take advantage of this, simply show your two paid tickets at The MARK of the Quad Cities box office and receive up to eight kids tickets.
This will be the final home regular season game for the Quad City Steamwheelers. Following Saturday night's game, the âWheelers will play Bossier-Shreveport and Louisville on the road to conclude the 2005 af2 regular season. Tickets to Saturday night's game are on sale now.
