STATEN ISLAND - There is no better place to close out summer of 2018 than Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George! The SI Yankees final stretch of our season is packed with special giveaways. Tickets can be purchased by calling 718-720-9265 or by visiting siyanks.com.
Starting off on August 8, the SI Yankees will hand out our second magnet giveaway. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Staten Island Yankees Emoji Magnet.
We are partnering with Topps and Bazooka Bubble Gum for a good old-fashioned Bubble Gum Blowing Contest at the ballpark on Friday, August 10. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a collectible Topps baseball card pack on entry, and a pack of Bazooka bubble gum on exit. The winner of this competition will receive a year supply of Bazooka gum, and a luxury suite for one game during the 2019 Staten Island Yankee Season. The winner will be invited back to the ballpark on August 31 to face former big league ballplayer, and current bubble blowing world record holder, Kurt Bevacqua as well as our best Staten Island Yankee bubble blowing player.
(In 1975, the Topps Company - best known for packaging their Bazooka bubble gum with baseball trading cards - announced the "Joe Garagiola Bazooka Big League Bubble Gum Blowing Championship". Former Milwaukee Brewer Kurt Bevacqua won this contest and will defend his crown on August 31.)
August 15 will be our third magnet giveaway of our four game custom magnet series. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Staten Island Pizza Rats Pizza Chef Magnet.
Along with August 20 being a Music Monday celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles White Album, we will be giving away white Staten Island Yankee Yankee Candles to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a limited edition Bat Gavel custom made by Chandler Bats on August 21! Is it a bat? Is it a gavel? You be the Judge.
Be sure not to miss the final magnet giveaway on August 29, the first 500 fans in attendance will be receiving a Staten Island Pizza Rats Logo Magnet.
Dilly Dilly! On August 30, the first 750 fans ages 21+ will receive a Dilly Dilly Bud Light bobble head presented by Anheuser-Busch.
The regular season wraps up on with Fan Appreciation Day On September 2 with an early 1:30 p.m. first pitch. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Scooter the Holy Cow Mini Bobble Head presented by Healthfirst.
