WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - Yeudy Colon balked with the winning run at third base giving the Hudson Valley Renegades a "balk-off" 6-5 win over the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season, Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, Sunday evening at Dutchess Stadium in the opener of a three-game series.

BIG MOMENTS
Hudson Valley rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat Brooklyn on a walk off. Marvin Malone's RBI single tied the game, and Allen Smooth scored from third base on Yeudy Colon's balk.
Chase Chambers blasted a two-run home run in the top of the first inning against Renegades starter Easton McGee, giving Brooklyn a 2-0 lead. Carlos Cortes added a two-run blast in the fifth, pushing the lead to 5-1.
Hudson Valley rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth, cutting the Brooklyn lead to 5-4. Adrian Rondon's run-scoring single highlighted the rally.

Jaison Vilera snapped his scoreless streak at 29.1 innings, allowing a season-high four runs in 4 1/3 innings.
With the loss, the Cyclones fall to 3.5 games back of first place Hudson Valley with eight head-to-head games to play.
Brooklyn hit two home runs in a game for the third time this season.
