Stars to face Jam tonight
December 8, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Los Angeles Aftershock News Release
Los Angeles, CA. LA Stars Head Coach Burrel Lee and former NBA star Cedric Ceballos have announced that Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA will serve as the team's home venue for the 2004-2005 season as well as the site of a major game tonight vs. the Long Beach Jam and Percy Miller (Master P). The Stars are 3-1 and in second place in the red division. It should be a great battle.
Lee was an Asst Coach under Taft's Head Coach, Derrick Taylor, last year when the team won the CIF City Championship. Coach Taylor said, "Taft and I are happy to see Burrel in the position he is in and we are excited to have the LA Stars at our school. Bringing pro ball to the Valley is going to be big this season. I am urging all of the students, their parents and others to support the team."
Ceballos added, "The quality of play in this league is tremendous and tickets are only $8.00; the best sports value in California. This will be a great game."
Site: Taft High School ("John Furlong Gym")
5461 Winnetka Avenue
Woodland Hills, CA 91364
Game Time: 730PM
