
Stars recall captain from ECHL

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the American Hockey League team has recalled center D'Arcy McConvey from the Stars ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
The 5-10, 190-pound McConvey departs the Steelheads as the team's leading scorer, posting 20 points in 12 games this season, including a team-high 13 assists: 12(7/13/20). His three-point performance last night, one goal and two assists, in Idaho's 5-2 win in Victoria, British Columbia, gives him the top slot among all point-getters in the 25-team ECHL.
Last season with the Columbia Inferno (ECHL), McConvey posted 23 goals and 31 assists in 60 games: 60(23/31/54).

The Iowa Stars host the San Antonio Rampage on Friday, November 18th at 7:05 PM.
