Stars hosted 4,310 fans in close game at home, Cole Krygier scores in the second period

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (14-18-0-1) were just edged 2-1 by the Omaha Lancers (21-10-2-0) on Saturday night at the Ice Box.

The Lancers scored early in the first period at 0:15 on a shot from Jack Randl to take a 1-0 lead. In the second period, Randl tallied a second goal at 3:33 to double the lead, 2-0. Stars defenseman Cole Krygier answered back at 6:28 with a backhanded shot in the right circle to cut the lead in half, 2-1.
