Stars Assign Jesse Root Back to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today they have reassigned forward Jesse Root to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Root, 24, began the season in training camp with the Texas Stars before being sent to Idaho at the start of the season. He was called up to the Stars on Oct. 15.
The Stars play a home-and-home series against the Oklahoma City Barons starting Friday on the road. Saturday's game at Cedar Park Center begins at 7:00 p.m.
