IceHogs Offering Special Game Day Experiences for Fans

Rockford, Ill. - Whether you are attending a Rockford IceHogs hockey game for the first time, as part of a group of family or friends, or for a special occasion, the IceHogs are offering fans a way to take their game day experience to the next level at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Beginning with the Hogs' next home game on Saturday, Oct. 25, fans will have an opportunity to upgrade their seating location or purchase special experiences from their mobile phone for all remaining home games in 2014-15.

In a partnership with Experience (www.expapp.com), the IceHogs are excited to offer a fan experience technology that helps create unforgettable memories at the BMO. Fans can access the seat upgrades and other enhancements available for each specific game securely through the IceHogs mobile website (m.icehogs.com).

With the unveiling of the technology beginning this weekend, the following are some of the game day experiences the IceHogs will have available for the games this Saturday and Sunday:

-Seat Upgrade: Relocate your seats to any available prime seating location. Note: Available 1 hour before each game.

-Tunnel team: You and your friends (6 person maximum) can high-five the players as they skate out onto the ice before a game

-Hammy visit: The IceHogs mascot will come find you for a special visit at your seat

This is just the start of a new system in which the IceHogs will continue to further enhance the fan experience by adding new opportunities for patrons to get VIP treatment while attending a game.

Other experiences that will be included for games throughout the season include (not limited to) :

-Join the Club: Upgrade seats to a premium seating option, including the IceHogs Club Lounge or a Club Box (includes buffet dinner)

-Meet & Greet: Score an exclusive chance to meet select IceHogs players up-close and personal following a game

-Make the first goal yours: Get your hands on the official game puck that produced the first goal of the game

-Watch Warmups from the Penalty Box: An opportunity to watch pre-game warmups from ice level

-Postgame photo on the ice

Fans can register at icehogs.expapp.com to receive notifications when new experiences are available for purchase.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Oct. 25 vs. Chicago Wolves. Puck drop is 7 p.m. The IceHogs will kick off the next installment of the Illinois Lottery Cup when the Wolves visit the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 5,000 fans through the gate will leave with an IceHogs magnetic schedule courtesy of T6 Broadband.
