
Stars Acquire Returning Player Rights to Kyle Collinsworth and Rodney Pryor

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, have acquired the returning player rights to guards Kyle Collinsworth and Rodney Pryor from Raptors 905 in exchange for the returning player rights to guard Jairus Lyles and guard/forward Justin Reyes.
Collinsworth (6-6, 210, Brigham Young) appeared in 28 games (all starts) with Raptors 905 last season, owning averages of 10.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.8 steals. In 2017-18, the Provo, Utah, native played in 32 games (two starts) with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 3.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists. He also appeared in 56 games (35 starts) with the Texas Legends over two seasons (2016-18).
The BYU standout played four seasons with the Cougars, owning career averages of 12.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals. Collinsworth was named the 2016 WCC Player of the Year and holds the NCAA career triple-double record (12) and single season triple-double record (6), which he set in 2014-15. As a four-year starter at Provo High, he helped the team win two state titles.
Pryor (6-5, 205, Georgetown) split the 2018-19 season with the Windy City Bulls and Raptors 905, appearing in 41 games and averaging 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. The guard appeared in 24 games (nine starts) with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2017-18 and averaged career-highs of 10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
The Evanston, Ill., native played one season at Georgetown (2016-17), appearing in 32 games (all starts) and averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Before transferring to Georgetown, Pryor spent two seasons at Robert Morris, where he appeared in 64 games (52 starts) and averaged 16.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
Lyles (6-2, 175, UMBC) appeared in 46 games (14 starts) last season with Salt Lake City, averaging 12.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals in 26.8 minutes.
Reyes (6-4, 205, St. Thomas Aquinas) appeared in 33 games (one start) last season with the Stars, averaging 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 18.5 minutes.
