
Star Wars Night, Go Green Night Kick Off 4-Game Homestand in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies return to Chukchansi Park this Saturday, and the first night of the four-game homestand against the Las Vegas 51s, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, kicks off with Go Green Night and Star Wars Night.
On Saturday, June 1, the first 2,000 fans through the gates to the 7:05 pm game will receive a Fresno Grizzlies reusable tote bag, courtesy of PG&E, as part of Go Green Night. Also, the first 750 kids ages 14 and under will receive a free book from the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, courtesy of Scholastic.
Saturday is also Star Wars Night, with special Star Wars character appearances by the 501st Legion Central California Garrison. The Grizzlies will wear special Star Wars theme jerseys, with a post-game live auction to benefit the Mediator Mentors program from the Kremen School of Education and Human Development at Fresno State. The Drag Kings, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, will perform as well.
Finally, on Saturday, the Giants Community Fund will be accepting new baseball gloves as part of the Junior Giants Glove Drive. Those that donate a new glove to the baseball league will receive a free lapel pin.
Join the Grizzlies to celebrate the best mascot in Minor League Baseball's birthday. On Sunday, June 2, it's Parker's Birthday Party at the 2:05 pm game. Parker will be available for autographs during the pre-game Future Giants and Parker Autograph Session. After the game, it's Kids Run The Bases, presented by popchips. Also before the game, there will be the Stauffer's Animal Crackers Pre-Game Parade for kids 12 and under.
Stay tuned to the Grizzlies Twitter and Facebook accounts for this week's Social Sunday deal. On Friday, the Grizzlies will announce a ticket deal for this Sunday's game, which is only available for purchase on June 2.
On Monday, June 3, the best ticket deal of the summer returns with Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30 and Wild Water Adventure Park. The Monday Madness package includes 2 Field Level Reserved tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas, 2 Wild Water Adventure Park passes, and 2 Blackbeard's Mini Golf passes for just $32. The Monday Madness ticket deal is only available on the day of the game and can be purchased at the Chukchansi Park Box Office.
The four-game homestand wraps up on Tuesday, June 4th with the final Making The Grade Day of the season. The 12:05 pm game will welcome Central Valley students to an educational experience at Chukchansi Park. For all fans, they can take advantage of the 2 For Tuesday ticket deal. Field Box tickets are two for the price of one as well as hot dogs, sodas, and bags of popchips being sold for $2 each through the fourth inning.
