The Calgary Stampeders, with the support of our partners at First Calgary Financial, are committed to involvement in the community. Here is a list of upcoming appearances (subject to change):

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 4

Time: 1 p.m.

Attending: Frank Beltre and Zach Minter

Event: Rockyview General Hospital celebration

Location: 7007 14 St. SW

Details: To help celebrate Rockyview General Hospital's 50th anniversary, Frank and Zach will be serving as judges for a cake decorating contest

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11

Time: 5 p.m.

Attending: Roy Finch and Bakari Grant

Event: Minor football practice

Location: 4459 51st Ave. - Innisfail

Details: Roy and Bakari will be travelling up to Innisfail to act as guest coaches for an evening with the Innisfail Minor Football Association

Date: Friday, Oct. 14

Time: 1:30 p.m.

Attending: Simon Charbonneau-Campeau, Rene Paredes, Brandon Smith and Jamar Wall

Event: Every Yard Counts

Location: Alberta Children's Hospital - 2888 Shaganappi Tr. NW

Details: Another team visit is scheduled at the Alberta Children's Hospital leading up to the Stamps home game against Montreal

Date: Monday, Oct. 17

Time: 7 a.m.

Attending: Deron Mayo and Alex Singleton

Event: Breakfast with Champions

Location: Chrysler Club at the Scotiabank Saddledome - 555 Saddledome Rise SE

Details: This major fundraiser for Special Olympics Calgary will see Deron and Alex sharing a meal with Special Olympics athletes before signing autographs at the function

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 18

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Attending: Rob Cote

Event: Cochrane Lions year-end banquet

Location: Lynx Ridge Golf Cub - 8 Lynx Ridge Blvd. NW

Details: The Cochrane Lions bantam football team has invited alumnus and current Stampeder Rob Cote to deliver some words of inspiration at a celebratory event to conclude their season

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 19

Time: 6:30 p.m.

Attending: Anthony Parker and Charlie Power

Event: Minor football raffle dinner

Location: Wellington's - 10325 Bonaventure Dr. SE

Details: Three Greater Okotoks Football Association raffle winners will be sitting down for an exclusive steak dinner alongside local products Anthony and Charlie

Date: Sunday, Oct. 23

Time: 2 p.m.

Attending: Frank Beltre and Rene Paredes

Event: Co-op store visit

Location: Co-op Creekside - 12000 Symons Valley Rd. NW

Details: Come stop by this local Co-op to enjoy a barbeque meal and get an autograph from Frank and Rene

Date: Monday, Oct. 24

Time: 4 p.m.

Attending: Calgary Stampeders players and coaches

Event: Stampeders Ambassadors Charity Poker Tournament presented by TD Canada Trust

Location: Grey Eagle Resort & Casino - 7377 Grey Eagle Dr. SW

Details: A collection of Stamps players and coaches will be on hand to participate in this second annual fundraiser in support of the Stampeders Foundation

Date: Tuesday, Nov. 8

Time: 2 p.m.

Attending: Brandon Smith and Drew Tate

Event: The Salvation Army Coat Drive Distribution

Location: Barbara Mitchell Family Resource Centre - 1731 29 St. SW

Details: Brandon and Drew will be helping to distribute the jackets and coats collected at the Stamps home game on Sept. 24 for those in need of winter warmth
