
Riders Sign National Linebacker Henoc Muamba

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced national linebacker Henoc Muamba has signed with the team. As per club policy, financial details of the contract were not released.
Muamba (6'00 - 230) spent his first three seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after originally being selected in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 2011 CFL Draft. He was named a CFL All-Star after racking up 106 defensive tackles during the 2013 season.
Muamba signed with the Indianapolis Colts in February, 2014 where he went on to play 13 regular season games and the AFC Championship game.
The St. Francis Xavier product returned to the CFL in October, 2015 signing with the Montreal Alouettes. He played the final four regular season games for Als picking up 14 defensive tackles.
The 27-year-old Muamba most recently attended 2016 training camp with the Dallas Cowboys where he played three preseason games.
Through parts of four CFL seasons, Muamba has totaled 185 defensive tackles, 54 special teams tackles, 16 tackles for loss and four quarterback sacks in 51 regular season games.
