Calgary Stampeders News Release
The Calgary Stampeders have signed American defensive back Ashton Lampkin.
Lampkin first signed with the Stampeders on Mar. 20, 2020, and, following the cancellation of the 2020 CFL season, he opted out of his contract on Aug. 26.

Lampkin signed with the National Football League's Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2017, and attended training camp. His NFL career also included stops in Cleveland and Washington.
In 55 games at Oklahoma State, Lampkin played 55 games and made 111 career tackles including one tackle for loss. He added one forced fumble, 12 pass breakups and five interceptions including one that he returned for a touchdown. He was Oklahoma State's special-teams MVP in 2013 and was named to the academic all-Big 12 team the same year.
