(Calgary) – The following is a review for Sunday, May 29th.

Sunday, May 29th

Sunny skies broke early and carried throughout the day on the Stampeders first day of training camp. Over 200 fans took in both practices and got their first glimpse at the new look Stampeders.

Tallest Offensive Lineman Alexandre Gauthier – 6'7

Shortest Receiver Kenyatta Morgan – 5'8

Lightest Receiver Brett Ralph, Kenyatta Morgan, Pascal Masson 175 lbs

Biggest Offensive Lineman Taylor Robertson 330 lbs

Most Mature Offensive Lineman Jamie Crysdale – December 14, 1974

Youngest Running Back Jacques Lumbala – June 22, 1983

Number Changes From Last Year

Joffrey Reynolds – 21 from 32

Tyler Lynem – 58 from 77

Ronney Jenkins – 2 from 24

Injury Report

Offensive Lineman Taylor Robertson did not practice in either the morning or the afternoon practice with an ankle injury. Receiver Tywan Mitchell and Defensive Lineman Tim MacDonald both did not practice in the afternoon with hamstring injuries.

Catch Of The Day

Quarterback Jason Gesser dropped back and hit #84 Martay Jenkins who cut inside and then out to catch a 30 yard pass over the head.

Who Looked Good

Defensive Back Anthony Malbrough had a good start to camp as did Defensive Lineman Demetrious Maxie.

In the linebacking core, the four veterans of Brain Clark, George White, John Grace and Scott Coe looked solid.
