Stampede Welcomes Idaho Donor Network

BOISE, ID (February 10, 2003) â The Idaho Donor Network will be a featured guest during the Idaho Stampede vs. Dakota Wizards contest on Tuesday, February 11, as part of the CBA's involvement in National Donor Awareness Week.
Local representatives of the Idaho Donor Network will distribute information throughout the evening from a concourse kiosk.
Former CBA assistant coach and current Marquette University Special Assistant Trey Schwab has recently been named Co-National Spokesperson of the Coalition on Donation, a national organization committed to raising awareness for organ procurement. Last year, Trey was diagnosed with an incurable lung disease called UIP-IPF (Usual Interstitial Pneumonitis â Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis), and is among 80,000 individuals waiting for a life-saving transplant due to a shortage of donors. On Sunday, January 12, Trey's story was highlighted in a SportsCenter feature aired on ESPN.
The Stampede and Dakota Wizards will battle in the Idaho Center for the eighth time tomorrow night. Tip-off is set for 7:10 p.m.
