Idaho Stampede News Release

The Idaho Stampede is partnering with two local high schools for a special "triple header" on Wednesday, November 30, at Qwest Arena. The Bishop Kelly Knights and Boise Braves will take the floor in preliminary games, leading up to the 8 p.m. tipoff of the Stampede's battle with the Sioux Falls SkyForce.

The junior varsity game begins at 4:30 p.m., and the varsity game will tipoff 15 minutes after the JV game ends. It is the first prep-professional basketball bill in the history of the state of Idaho, and it is being made possible in part by the Bishop Kelly Alumni Association.

"The Stampede is pleased to partner with BK and Boise High to present this night of basketball downtown," said Stampede President and General Manager John Brunelle. "It will be fun to showcase the arena and CBA basketball to fans who wouldn't otherwise be here on a Wednesday night. We hope to make these triple headers a regular feature of Stampede basketball at the Qwest Arena."

Tickets to the high school games will be priced and sold as a regular Idaho High School Activities Association event, with $5.00 for adults and discounts for students and seniors. The tickets include admission to the Stampede game, but will only be sold until halftime of the BK versus Boise varsity game.

It will be a home game for Bishop Kelly, so BK students and season pass holders will receive a ticket, at no charge, when displaying their ID cards at the Will Call window.
