Stampede Takes Down Texas

BOISE, Idaho, September 10, 2012 - Coby Karl had 25 points (7-8 FG, 4-5 3FG, 7-8 FT) and eight assists and the Idaho Stampede beat the Texas Legends 104-88. Josh Owens (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Sean Evans (16 points, 11 rebounds) each had double-doubles in the win for Idaho (7-17).

The Legends (11-14) lost their ninth game in a row, as they were held to just 41.0 percent shooting by the Stampede defense. Idaho made exactly 50.0 percent of its attempts, including a 9-of-19 effort from behind the three-point line. Luther Head led Texas with 20 points, while Justin Dentmon and Rashad McCants both had 19.

Durrell Summers led the bench effort with 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Justin Holiday had 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in just the second game after being named to the NBADLeague.com Prospect Watch list.
