Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce dropped a road game tonight against the Idaho Stampede as they were defeated 103-99 (5, 2). The Skyforce evened their record at 3-3 while Idaho improved to 2-4 on the season.
The Idaho Stampede came out on fire in the first half as they seemed to hit every three-point shot they attempted. They actually went 11-for-20 (.550) from downtown in the first half which gave them a comfortable 67-51 halftime lead. Idaho won the first two quarters 34-23 and 33-28 respectively. Sioux Falls would not go down without a fight as they won the third quarter 26-20 and went into the final quarter trailing 87-77. They just could not cut into the lead and would have lost by seven points if not for a successful three-quarters court shot at the buzzer by Brandon Hunter to provide the final margin.
The Skyforce's next game is on Friday, December 2nd on the road against the Idaho Stampede. Tip-off is set for 8:10 CST at Qwest Arena.
