
Steelheads Continue Undefeated Road Show at Michigan Friday Night

GARY, Indiana (December 2, 2005) - The Gary Steelheads take an umblemished road record into Muskegon, Michigan for their third meeting this season with the Michigan Mayhem. The Steelheads have won both previous meetings, 93-82 in Gary on November 22nd and 115-108 in Muskegon on November 25th.
Gary has won four of their last five games, including a road win at Albany on Wednesday night. It took a fourth-quarter comeback and overtime for Gary to pull out a hard-fought 112-110 victory. In the process, the Steelheads strengthened their hold on second place in the CBA's Eastern Conference by picking up five quarter points with the win. The Steelheads have now defeated every team in the Eastern Conference on the road.
The Mayhem fell to a record of 1-5 on the season, losing to the Dakota Wizards in Muskegon Wednesday night. The Wizards, leaders in the Western Conference of the CBA, put six players in double figures for the game. The Mayhem committed 21 turnovers in defeat. Alpha Bangura paced Michigan with 22 points.
The Wizards head to Gary to take on the Steelheads on Saturday night at the Genesis Center. Game time is 7:05PM. Tickets are available for the game through Ticketmaster, the Genesis Center Box Office or by calling the team office at (219) 882-4222.
