
Stampede Playoff Second Round Game Set, On Sale Now

BOISE, Idaho (April 9, 2007) - The Idaho Stampede have announced that their second round home playoff game will be Friday, April 20 during the 2007 NBA Development League Championships, presented by Delta Air Lines. Individual tickets are on sale now at the Qwest Arena box office or by calling (208) 331-TIXS (8497).
A special Playoff Family Pack ticket package is also on sale, the package includes four Rustler section tickets, four hot dogs and four small sodas for $50, a savings of $20. To purchase the Playoff Family Pack or group packages for the playoffs, call the Stampede front office at (208) 388-4667.
By defeating the Colorado 14ers this past Saturday, the Stampede clinched the regular season Western Division title, earned a bye in the first round, and home court advantage through the second round of the playoffs on April 20.
Idaho still has a chance to earn home court advantage for the Championship Game, should they advance in the playoffs, by earning the best overall regular season record. Currently, the Stampede (31-17) have a half-game lead over the Dakota Wizards (30-17) for the best overall record in the D-League.
The final two regular season games are at home on Friday, April 13 against Tulsa and Saturday, April 14 against Los Angeles.

The D-League currently includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Anaheim Arsenal (Calif.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Bakersfield Jam (Calif.), Colorado 14ers (Broomfield), Dakota Wizards (Bismarck, N.D.), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Idaho Stampede (Boise), Los Angeles D-Fenders (Calif.), Sioux Falls Skyforce (S.D.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.). Expansion teams for the 2007-08 season have already been announced in Orem, Utah, the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas and Des Moines, Iowa.
The D-League continues to develop talent from across all disciplines for the NBA's 30 teams and the entire NBA umbrella. In addition to the assignment of 24 players to D-League affiliates, there have also been 20 GATORADE Call-Ups from the D-League to the NBA this season. Additionally, every referee hired by the NBA since 2002 has worked in the D-League, while coaches, athletic trainers and front office executives are also being developed.
