
Stampede Looking for Mascots

BOISE, ID (February 26, 2003) â The Idaho Stampede is searching for any and all mascots available to take part in the team's Fan Appreciation Night, Wednesday, March 5, as the Stampede hosts the Dakota Wizards in the final home game of the 2002-03 season.
Joining the Stampede's own mascot, Rumble, will be: Humphrey the Hawk from the Boise Hawks baseball team; McGruff the Crime Dog; the Sonic Drive-In hot dog and shake; Sparky from the Nampa Fire Department; Bonk from the Idaho Steelheads; Slide the Playground Hound and many more.
If your school, organization, or business has a mascot, and would like to be represented during the Stampede game, contact the office at 388-HOOP.
The Idaho Stampede wraps up its home schedule next week with a three-game home stand, beginning Sunday against the Yakima Sun Kings. Game time is set for 6:10 p.m. The National Conference leading Dakota Wizards then come to town on March 4 & 5, with both games set to tip-off at 7:10 p.m.
