Stampede Holds Open Practice Free to Public

BOISE, ID- January 16, 2004- The Idaho Stampede, the Treasure Valley's professional basketball team, announced today that they will hold an open practice free of charge to the public.

The open practice will be held on Saturday, January 17, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County. The Boys and Girls Club of Ada County is located at 610 E 42nd street in Garden City.

"The team is playing very well and gelling nicely together. This event is a great opportunity for the public to see what they've been missing and to enjoy some exciting professional basketball action," said Idaho Stampede Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak.

After practice, the team and coaching staff will break for lunch and will attend the Boise State vs. Nevada basketball game to lend their support to the Broncos. On Tuesday, January 20th, Coach Krystkowiak, Josh Davis, DeSean Hadley and Roberto Bergersen will be in Yakima, WA participating in the 20th CBA All-Star Classic.

The Stampede will be back in the Idaho Center on Tuesday, January 27, to tip-off against the league leading Dakota Wizards at 7:10 p.m. Tickets for all remaining 11 home-games are still available for purchase.
