Santa Cruz, CA - The Idaho Stampede were defeated 122-100 Friday night in Santa Cruz. Jack Cooley returned from his 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz to post 19 points and 12 rebounds.

The Stampede started hot in the first quarter, making 10 of its first 14 shot attempts. Santa Cruz answered with a run to tie the game at 27 heading into the second quarter. Idaho received four 3-pointers from the bench in the second quarter, helping the Stampede keep pace with the Warriors. Idaho shot 14-29 from beyond the arc through the first three quarters, on pace to set a season high in 3-point field goals made in a single game. But Santa Cruz took over in the fourth, outscoring the Stampede 33-15 in the final frame and closing out the game.

Cooley's 19 led the Stampede as he recorded his ninth double-double of the season. Brandon Fields posted 14 points and seven assists in his first start for Coach Cooper. Tre Bussey pitched in with 12 points off the bench by hitting all four 3-point attempts.

Darrington Hobson recorded a triple-double with a game-high 28 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists. Mychel Thompson added 15 to help the Warriors claim their seventh consecutive win.

The two teams face off again tomorrow night at 8 p.m. (MT) at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
