Bighorns Aqcuire Returning Player Rights of Coby Karl in Trade

RENO, NEV., Mar. 06, 2015- The Reno Bighorns completed a trade today with the Idaho Stampede, with the Bighorns acquiring the returning player rights to Coby Karl, the son of Sacramento Kings' head coach George Karl. In exchange, the Stampede will receive the returning player rights to Trent Lockett.

Most recently, Karl joined the Toronto Raptors during the 2014-15 Summer League, where he averaged 2.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in five games (five starts).

Karl (6'5", 215lbs), played with the Idaho Stampede during the 2012-13 season. During Karl's time with the Stampede, he played 50 games (50 starts) averaging 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.

Trent Lockett joined the Lowen Braunschweig in Germany for the 2014-15. During Lockett's time in Germany, he averaged 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game

Tonight, the Bighorns host the Texas Legends at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center.
