BISMARCK, North Dakota, January 17, 2011 - Jermareo Davidson had his third consecutive double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Idaho Stampede (8-15) swept the Dakota Wizards with a 103-95 win on Monday night. The Stampede won the second half 56-46 by holding Dakota to just 35.4 percent shooting from the floor in the final two quarters.
Cedric Jackson led Idaho with 20 points, nine assists and eight rebounds and six out of seven Stampeders to see the floor scored in double-figures. Starters Antoine Walker (16 points, seven rebounds) and Seth Tarver (15 points, 7-11 FG) were aided by bench players Willie Jenkins, who had 14 points, and Lance Hurdle, who had 13 points. Regular contributers Eric Boateng, Luke Jackson and Carlos Wheeler all sat out the game due to injury, leaving Idaho with just seven active players. Each player tallied at least 27 minutes played.
Since losing six straight games, the Stampede have won six of their last eight games.
The Wizards were led by Mike Hall (27 points, 11 rebounds) and featured all five starters scoring at least 13 points. The bench contributed just six points.
The Stampede play the Austin Toros at home on January 20, when world-renowned dance company the Trey McIntyre Project will perform at halftime.
