Bismarck, N.D. (Jan. 17, 2010) - The Dakota Wizards announced today the acquisition of guard Maurice Baker. Baker will be in uniform tonight as the Wizards play host to the Idaho Stampede. The current roster now stands at 11 players.
Baker has career averages of 14.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 230 games over six seasons with the Wizards. He is the Wizards all-time leader in points (3,288), minutes played (8,100), rebounds (1,357), assists 1,273, field goals made (1,207), assists (1,273) and steals (393). He helped lead the Dakota Wizards to the 2006-07 NBA Development League Championship averaging 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games.
