Squadron Tip-Off Party to Precede Pelicans-Hawks Game

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron today announced the Squadron Tip-Off Party, taking place prior to the 7 p.m. start time for the New Orleans Pelicans vs. Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. at Legacy Arena.

"The Squadron are very excited to partner with City Walk Bham in the creation of our tip-off party prior to the Pelicans-Hawks game," said Birmingham Squadron general manager Leslie Claybrook. "The party at City Walk Bham gives our community a chance to celebrate the start of basketball season and year two for the Birmingham Squadron. Between the Squadron Tip-Off Party and the game, there's something for everyone at Legacy Arena."

The tip-off party is set for 4-6:30 p.m. outside Legacy Arena and spilling into City Walk Bham, Birmingham's newest entertainment feature within the I-59/20 corridor in the Central Business District. The event marks the first time City Walk Bham has been activated along with a BJCC occasion.

The Squadron Tip-Off Party includes entertainment by JAMZ 95.7 personality YS Baby, the New Orleans Pelicans Hype Team, Pelicans mascot, Pierre, and Squadron mascot, Commander.

Several beverage and food options will be available at the event, as well as prize giveaways.
