
Springfield Falcons Release 2014-15 Promotional Schedule

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have released their 2014-15 promotional schedule. The promotional schedule is highlighted by six giveaways and two opportunities to receive ticket vouchers in addition to charitable promotions and theme nights hosted by the Falcons.
The 2014-15 Springfield Falcons Home Opener presented by MGM Springfield on Oct. 18 will feature a banner raising by the back-to-back Northeast Division Champions. The first 2,000 fans will also receive a commemorative 2013-14 Northeast Division Championship banner rally towel. The first 2,500 fans attending the Oct. 25 match-up will be welcomed with a Falcons magnet schedule.
For the second consecutive year, the Falcons will host Halloween at the Nest on Oct. 26. In addition to inviting fans of all ages to wear their costumes, the Falcons will offer trick-or-treating on the concourse during the first and second intermissions.
Springfield will continue to host Friendly's Sundae Post-Game Skates following five Sunday home games with a 3:00 p.m. start. Fans who choose to participate in the post-game skate will receive a Friendly's coupon. The first post-game skate will be held Oct. 26.
Winning Wednesday will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5 when the team hosts the St. John's IceCaps. If the Falcons win, all fans in attendance win one ticket voucher to the Friday, Nov. 21 game vs. Bridgeport.
During the month of November, Springfield will celebrate Movember and work towards raising funds and awareness for men's health issues by participating in a Movember challenge. Movember night will be held on Nov. 7. The first 1,000 fans will receive a stick-on moustache to help support the Falcons in their challenge.
The Falcons have partnered with KIX 100.9 to continue their tradition of supporting Toys for Tots on Dec. 5. Every fan who brings a toy to the game will receive one ticket voucher good for the Jan. 4 game against Manchester. Also in December is Holiday at The Nest on Dec. 10. Fans are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters and join in the Falcons in celebrating the holidays.
The New Year will kick-off with Social Media Night on Jan. 3 with an exclusive Social Media Night t-shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. January will also feature the first of two Big Y nights. Fans with a Big Y Savings Club Card can show their card at the MassMutual Center Box Office up until 5 p.m. the night of Jan. 10 to receive $5 off the price of an adult ticket.
Special guest Rene Rancourt will perform the national anthem at the Jan. 24 contest between the Falcons and the Bruins, presented by Boston Medical Center.
The Feb. 14 match-up against Providence will feature a Falcons winter hat giveaway, courtesy of Health New England. The first 1,000 fans at the MassMutual Center will have the opportunity to receive this giveaway.
The Springfield Falcons will wear one specialty jersey this season for Pink in the Rink presented by Noble Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 21. The exclusive pink jersey will help raise awareness for breast cancer research. In addition to the specialty jerseys, 1,000 fans will receive a pink thunder sticks giveaway.
On March 8, all fans will receive a team poster and have the opportunity to meet the team at a post-game autograph session. Also in March, the Falcons will host St. Patrick's Day at The Nest on March 14 and the second Big Y night on March 21. Additionally, Hockey in Heels presented by Heath New England will be held prior to the March 28 game.
The Falcons will hold the annual Fan Appreciation Weekend on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. The weekend will feature giveaways and prizes to show the Falcons appreciation for every fan.
Along with promotional nights, redemption nights are scheduled for Dec. 28 and March 27. During these games, fans may redeem any unused vouchers for a single game ticket for that night.
