
Iowa Wild Announces Broadcast Schedule

Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Wild, in conjunction with Clear Channel Des Moines and Mediacom, announced the team's 2014-15 broadcast schedule.
The Wild returns to its flagship station, 1460-AM KXNO, the radio home the Iowa Wild. Fans will be able to catch nearly 70 regular season games on 1460 KXNO, Des Moines' Sports Station. Every game of the regular season and postseason will also be streamed live on iHeartRadio and AHL Live Radio. As part of the agreement, 1460 KXNO will also have Iowa Wild players and coaching staff on air for weekly interviews and features.

Award winning play-by-play broadcaster Joe O'Donnell returns for his second season in Des Moines after calling the team 's first season. He will also handle all TV play-by play duties on Mediacom. The veteran broadcaster enters his seventh season in the Minnesota Wild organization as Director of Broadcasting and Corporate Partnerships for the NHL club's AHL affiliate. Prior to moving to Iowa, he spent five years in Houston as Voice of the Aeros. In all, the 34-year old begins his tenth season of professional hockey play-by-play. The Havertown, PA native has called the AHL's 2011 Calder Cup Finals, as well as the ECHL's 2007 All-Star Game and 2007 Kelly Cup Finals. O'Donnell was named the ECHL's National Conference Broadcaster of the Year in 2007.
The Wild also announced an additional broadcast agreement with Mediacom to televise six home games from Wells Fargo Arena. All games will air live on MC-22.

Iowa begins its second season in the American Hockey League with a two-game road trip in Texas. The team plays at 7:30 p.m. in San Antonio on Friday, Oct. 10. The Wild stops in Cedar Park, TX to face the defending Calder Cup Champion Texas Stars on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. Iowa hosts Opening Weekend on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct 18 at 7 p.m. against the Milwaukee Admirals. The first 5,000 fans to Friday's game will receive a 2014-15 Magnetic Schedule, compliments of Hicklin Garage Doors. Fans may also enjoy a $2 Beer Night, presented by 100.3 The Bus. On Saturday, the team celebrates Local Heroes Night and the first 5,000 fans will be handed an Iowa Wild 2014-15 poster schedule.
The Iowa Wild 2014-15 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center and begins on the road Oct. 10 in San Antonio. Fans may purchase seats to the Home Opener on Friday, Oct. 17 against the Milwaukee Admirals at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
