
Sports Sign Former Louisiana Tech Player

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
Ryan Hamilton, former Louisiana Tech standout, is the latest player to be signed by the Shreveport Sports for the 2007 season.
Hamilton, finished his career at Louisiana Tech in 2006 and was the starting third baseman for the Bulldogs. In his senior year, he hit .351 with seven home runs and had 45 RBI's for Tech.
After his career at Louisiana Tech, Hamilton played last year at Winnipeg in the Northern League. In 55 games at Winnipeg, Hamilton played second base, batting .234 with no home runs and 15 RBI's.
Hamilton is the second area player to be signed by the Sports this year. Former Airline High School and LSUS standout Dusty Maddox has been inked by the Sports.
The Shreveport Sports who have now signed 15 players for the upcoming season, will report to spring training on April 28th with the first game at Fort Worth on May 10th. The home opener for the Sports at Fair Grounds Field will be May 14th.
