Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
Fort Worth put together a five-run sixth inning on their way to a 7-3 victory over the Shreveport Sports Wednesday at Fair Grounds Field.
The Cats were leading 1-0 going into the sixth, but sent ten batters to the plate in scoring their five runs.
Shreveport was led by Chad Gambill and Tommy Bryant who both had two-hits each. Gambill also had an RBI. The Sports Juan Ventura extended his hitting streak to ten games.
With the series tied at a game apiece, Shreveport and Fort Worth will close out the three-game series Thursday at 7:05 pm with the game to be broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
