HR: ELP - Juan Camacho (5)
El Paso sent 13 batters to the dish and exploded for nine runs in the fourth inning to beat Sioux City 10-8. The nine runs in the inning was El Paso's highest-scoring inning all season, and was just enough to hold off Sioux City's rally. Not deterred by El Paso's outburst, Sioux City responded right away with three runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth. But El Paso's relief crew of Garvis Romero, Dustin Cameron and Ned Darley held Sioux City scoreless from there to keep El Paso atop the South Division standings.
