Saginaw, Mich. - The Saginaw Spirit (3-4-0-0) will return home to take on the London Knights (6-3-0-0) at the Dow Event Center on Sunday, October 22nd.

Tonight, the Spirit celebrate their 16th Pink Out game in conjunction with Ascension St. Mary's. Their pink specialty jerseys will be auctioned off in the arena after the game.

Last Time:
Saginaw fell to the Windsor Spitfires Saturday, October 21st by a score of 5-2. Valentin Zhugin was the first to score for the Spirit with assists from Michael Misa and Sebastien Gervais. Calem Mangone soon followed, scoring his fifth goal of the year. PJ Forgione and Hunter Haight would also get assists from Mangone's goal. Andrew Oke left with an upper body injury in the second period, having stopped 15 of 18 shots. Nolan Lalonde stopped all eight shots in relief of Oke.
London lost to the Erie Otters by a score of 5-3 on Friday, October 20th for their third loss of the year. Jacob Julien and Isaiah George both scored their second goals of the season with Sam O'Reilly scoring his fourth. Knights goaltender Michael Simpson started in goal stopping 21 of 25 Erie shots.
Last Year:
The Spirit dropped all four contests with London last season. In their most recent meeting, Hunter Haight notched the only Spirit goal in a 5-1 loss at Budweiser Gardens on February 3rd, 2023.
Players to Watch:
Hunter Haight leads Saginaw in points this year with eleven (11). Haight is also second on the team in assists with six (6). Oliver Bonk currently leads the team in assists with ten (10) which also places him fourth in the OHL for. Michael Simpson has made eight starts for the Knights, holding a 5-3-0-0 record, 2.39 GAA, and .914 SV%.
