Spirit Earn Berth in CHL Top-10 Rankings

The Canadian Hockey League announced today that the Saginaw Spirit have been placed in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for week three of the 2010-2011 season, the second time in franchise history that the Spirit were awarded the prestigious honor. A panel of National Hockey League scouts ranked the Spirit the seventh top team out of the 60 team CHL.

The QMJHL Quebec Remparts were ranked the top team with a record of 7-0-0-1, while the OHL Oshawa Generals earned the second berth with a record of 4-0-0-0. Other OHL teams making the list include the fifth ranked Mississauga St. Michael's Majors (3-1-0-0) and the tenth ranked Owen Sound Attack (3-1-0-0). The Kitchener Rangers earned an honorable mention in the rankings.
