Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Canadian Hockey League has released its weekly BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings and for the first time in five seasons, the Owen Sound Attack find themselves on the list.
Four games into the season, the Attack sit with a 3-1 record after consecutive victories over Guelph (8-1), London (4-2) and Kitchener (4-0). This is the first time the Attack have entered the rankings since the beginning of the 06-07 season when they were ranked as high as fourth.
This is the second honor for the Owen Sound Attack is as many days as net minder Scott Stajcer was named the Canadian Hockey League's Vaughn Goaltender of the Week.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
The Attack is back in action at home this Saturday when they play host to the Brampton Battalion. Game time at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre is 7:30pm.
