Spirit Add Forward Micky Sartoretto and Picks via Trade with Rangers

The Saginaw Spirit have completed a trade with the Kitchener Rangers, adding forward Micky Sartoretto to their roster in return for defensemen Cody Sol and Matt Braun. Saginaw also received Kitchener's second round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection and their third round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sartoretto is a 91-born right winger (03-07-1991) hailing from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He posted three goals and four assists for seven points in 43 games last season, 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points in 92 games over the course of two OHL seasons. Sartoretto, who comes in at six foot two inches and 195 pounds, was Kitchener's 123rd overall pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.
