The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that they will auction off the autographed jersey of forward Ryan O'Reilly and the game-worn jersey of forward David Broll with all proceeds from the sale going to the family of the late Elizabeth Neimeic to help cover funeral costs.

O'Reilly recently completed his rookie year in the NHL with the Colorado Avalanche after playing two seasons with the Otters. He collected 118 points in 129 games with the Otters, serving as an alternate captain in 2008-09 season. He was drafted by the Avalanche in the second round of the 2009 NHL Draft and notched 26 points in 81 games during his first NHL season.

Broll enters his second season with the Otters after being selected with the team's first round pick in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection. The Mississauga, Ont. native collected 18 points in his rookie season and participated at last weekend's Canada Under-18 National Team Camp.

"The Erie Otters are deeply saddened by the Elizabeth Neimeic tragedy and express sincere condolences to her family," Assistant General Manager, Administration Shawn Waskiewicz said.
