Arizona Rattlers News Release
PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers activated WR/DB Darrell Jones from the team's injured reserve and released OL/DL Kelvin Ingram, Head Coach Gene Nudo announced.
Jones (5-foot-9, 190 pounds) played in five games (2 starts) for the Rattlers as a rookie in 2006, but has been inactive for each game this season. One of the game's most explosive speedsters, Jones tallied 317 yards in kick returns last season, including a team-record two kickoff returns for a touchdown vs. Orlando on Mar. 10. A four-year letterman at Cal-poly San Luis Obispo, he finished his collegiate career as the school's all-time top receiver and return man.
Ingram (6-foot-5, 285 pounds) played in four of Arizona's six games this season. The veteran of 11 AFL seasons played with the Rattlers from 1999-2001 and 2004 through this year.
