With her 10 rebounds tonight, Tina Thompson grabbed a season-high and pulled within three of 2,500 career rebounds and DeLisha Milton-Jones pulled within four of 500 career steals.
Ticha Penicheiro scored a season-high 12 points to go with four assists and two steals.
The Silver Stars fell to 2-8 when trailing at the half while the Sparks improved to 4-4 when leading at the half.
The Sparks were outrebounded by the Silver Stars 28-27 and are 2-8 when being outrebounded.
The Sparks held their biggest lead of the night at 18 and won three of the four quarters on their way to victory.
The Silver Stars outscored the Sparks 34-20 in the paint and the Sparks won the edge on second chance points 6-5.
The Sparks improved to 1-0 on Thursday and the Silver Stars fell to 1-2 when playing on Thursdays.
The Sparks improved to 4-2 when shooting better than 45% while the Silver Stars fell to 3-1 when shooting under 50%.
The Silvers Stars made and shot season lows from the freethrow line attempting seven and making six and grabbed a season-low 28 rebounds.
The Sparks tied their season low for points in a quarter with 9 being outscored 24-9 in the third quarter.
