
Fox Sports Arizona to Feature Ann Meyers Drysdale on "In My Own Words" Series

Phoenix - FOX Sports Arizona will feature Mercury President and General Manager Ann Meyers Drysdale on its "In My Own Words" series tonight (July 1) at 6:30 p.m. The feature will lead into tipoff of the Mercury vs. Washington Mystics game at 7 p.m. which will also air on FOX Sports Arizona.
Hosted by Brad Steinke, the segment addresses Meyers Drysdale's decorated basketball career from playing against the boys as a child in Southern California to being the first woman to ever try out for an NBA team to blazing a trail in women's pro basketball. The Hall of Famer also talks about her family including her late husband Don Drysdale who passed away in 1993.
FOX Sports Arizona will replay the 30-minute feature multiple times over the course of the next two weeks. A list of all of the air times is below.
