Stars Forward Megan Frazee Undergoes Successful Surgery

STARS FORWARD megan frazee UNDERGOES SUCCESSFUL SURGERY -- Frazee will remain in San Antonio for knee rehabilitation -- SAN ANTONIO, July 1, 2010 - The San Antonio Silver Stars today announced forward Megan Frazee underwent a successful menisectomy on her left knee.

Dr. Richard Steffen of the Texas Center for Athletes performed the surgery on Frazee's knee on Thursday, repairing the injury Frazee suffered last week; the 6-foot-3 forward will remain in San Antonio to rehabilitate her knee.

The Silver Stars waived Frazee on June 29 under the WNBA's emergency hardship exception to the salary cap. A team can apply for the exception when it falls below 10 players able to play.
