Sparks Macchi selected by Chicago Sky

EL SEGUNDO, CA- Los Angeles Sparks forward, Laura Macchi was selected during Wednesdays WNBA Expansion Draft by the Chicago Sky.
Macchi, a two-year WNBA veteran, was signed by the Los Angeles Sparks in March of 2004 starting in 16 games averaging 2.1 rebounds and 5.7 points.
"On behalf of the whole Sparks organization, I would like to thank Laura for her efforts over the past two seasons and wish her well in her future endeavors" Sparks General Manager Penny Toler said.
