
Space Cowboys Come Home for Two Weeks against Round Rock & Reno

SUGAR LAND, TX - With just six weeks remaining in the regular season, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys return to Constellation Field for a two-week home stand against the Round Rock Express from Tuesday, August 15 to Sunday, August 20 and the Reno Aces from Tuesday, August 22 to Sunday, August 27.

Tuesday, August 15 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 pm
Stay cool as the Space Cowboys begin the Triple-A version of the 'Battle for the Silver Boot' with $5 Frozens presented by Jose Cuervo Tradicional featuring $5 frozen margaritas throughout the night.
On Silver Stars Tuesday presented by United HealthCare, fans 55 and older who are Silver Star members receive a free drink coupon for a small soda to Tuesday's game, a free baseball bingo card and more all at a discounted rate. Silver Star Memberships can be purchased online here or over the phone at (281) 240-4487.
Additionally, it's Kids Eat Free Tuesday, where all kids 12-and-under receive a voucher good for a hot dog and drink at the gates.
After throwing seven shutout innings in his last start, RHP Ronel Blanco is scheduled to start the opener for the Space Cowboys opposite Express RHP Alex Speas for a 7:05 pm first pitch.
Wednesday, August 16 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 pm
The first series of the homestand continues with Dollar Hot Dog Night presented by Texas Chili on Wednesday night, with $1 hot dogs at Constellation Field.
In partnership with Goodwill Houston, when fans donate gently used items at participating Goodwill stores or donation centers, they can receive a voucher for any remaining Wednesday home game. Fans can also bring their gently used items to Wednesday's game to receive a General Admission ticket to the game. Participating Goodwill locations can be found here.
RHP Spencer Arrighetti is slated to start for the Space Cowboys while Round Rock is scheduled to throw RHP Robert Dugger.
Thursday, August 17 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 pm
Start the weekend early with Thirsty Thursday presented by Eureka Heights, with $4 Bud Light drafts and sodas, along with $6 Eureka Heights 12 oz cans.
It's also Bark in the Park presented by Hollywood Feed where fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to take in the game from the Grassland area. Dogs do not need a ticket but owners will be required to sign a waiver upon entry.
On the hill, Sugar Land is set to throw RHP Misael Tamarez opposite Round Rock RHP Owen White.
Friday, August 18 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 pm
The Space Cowboys are helping fans stay cool with a Cooling Towel Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans presented by One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating. Gates open at 5:30 pm for a 7:05 pm first pitch.
Friday night also features Bollywood Night, and Family Four Pack tickets are available for the 18th, which include four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $44. Fans can use the code 'FAMILYFOUR' for tickets in the Hot Corner sections to receive the discount. Upgraded Family Four Packs are also available in the Dugout Box I, II and Home Plate Box II sections.
After the contest it's another Freddy's Fireworks Friday presented by Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers with a Texas-sized postgame fireworks show.
The Space Cowboys will send RHP Brandon Bielak to the mound while the Express are set to RHP Zak Kent for the Friday night matchup.
Saturday, August 19 vs. Round Rock @ 7:05 pm
Celebrate the outstanding culture of the City of Sugar Land with Art Appreciation Night. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Paint Your Own Orion Bobblehead as they enter Constellation Field and there will be coloring stations with crayons and coloring sheets set up along that concourse that evening.
The Space Cowboys will also wear special jerseys designed by high school senior Amyan Tran, which was selected as the winning design from entries from local schools in Fort Bend County and beyond. Tran will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will be joined at the ballpark by the other finalists from the contest.
After making two starts in El Paso, LHP Colton Gordon is scheduled to make his home debut with the Space Cowboy against Express LHP Cody Bradford.
Sunday, August 20 vs. Round Rock @ 6:05 pm:
Sugar Land's series with the Express wraps up on Sunday evening with an Affiliate Tumbler Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans presented by Constellation.
Prepare to be amazed as Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act returns to Constellation Field, with the Amazing Tyler performing on the field and in the stands throughout the evening.
Sunday is Orion's Kids Days, where all kids can participate in pregame catch on the field, get pregame player autographs and enjoy postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Caldwell & Steinbring Dentistry for Children.

The Space Cowboys conclude their two-week home stand by celebrating our beloved mascot, Orion! On Orion's Birthday, the first 2,000 fans will receive an Orion Jersey. Plus, Orion's mascot friends will all be on hand to celebrate.
