Sox Win Slugfest With Zephyrs 11-10

The Sky Sox outlasted the Zephyrs to pull out an 11-10 victory on Friday night at Sky Sox Stadium. The Sox banged out 21 hits including 5 extra base hits as every position player for the Sox reached base at least 1 time. Sox starter Randy Flores was roughed up giving up 10 earned runs on 11 hits in 5 innings, but the bullpen came in and pitched 4 innings allowing 0 runs. Willie Magee was 4-5 on the night with 4 singles, knocking in the trying and go ahead runs in the 7th. The Sox will head to Nashville for a 4-game set with the Sounds starting Monday night. The Sox Chris Gissell (4-3, 3.86) will square off against the Sounds Justin Reid (3-3, 4.80) in game 1 of that series.
